Trinisys CEO Antoine Agassi hired 16 people in 2016, bringing the Brentwood health-tech firm’s headcount to 36. He’s expanding the company’s office space by nearly 20 percent. And the firm is closing the year with annual revenue around $5 million, up from $3.8 million in 2015.

Agassi is eyeing another growth path in the year to come, one that takes advantage of his long history of making deals as a veteran health care executive.

Trinisys, Agassi said, “may be somewhat acquisitive in 2017.”

Agassi, who joined Trinisys as CEO just under two years ago, said the company’s products are particularly useful for health care organizations that are either changing the electronic systems they use or are completing large deals themselves, creating a need for a way to bring together disparate systems. The company counts several of the area’s largest health care companies (chief among them hospital giant HCA Holdings Inc.) among its clients, Agassi said, and many of the others who are pursuing aggressive acquisitive growth are in need of a solution like what Trinisys offers. For the past two years, Agassi said the company’s acceleration has been “on steroids.” Looking forward, he added, “there’s still room for growth.”
