With On-Image Data Entry™ the image viewer and data entry form are merged into a single, seamless user interface, eliminating the need for any additional forms or applications. Data entry personnel are guided through the image field-by-field. As the user advances through the form, the region around each field is highlighted and the appropriate data entry control is displayed directly on the image, just below the highlighted area.This greatly reduces the amount of time required to process forms as the data entry personnel do not need to be familiar with the layout of the paper form. They simply type the highlighted information into the field provided.Additional time-savings can be realized with the Form Data Lookup feature, which provides the ability to dynamically populate form data using key form fields (e.g. Policy Number, Customer ID) to query existing information from line-of-business application databases.

The Form Template Editor allows companies to easily configure key-from-image and OCR using existing forms. A form template is created from a scanned blank form. Form fields, data constraints, and validation are defined using an intuitive point-and-click interface.

No complex setup is required as form recognition is based on the whole form image. Once a template has been created it is automatically set up for form recognition. No additional steps are required.

Forms can be setup for character recognition (OCR) and mark recognition (OMR) to further reduce the time required to capture data. The OCR validation interface is integrated into the Data Entry Control.

Dynamic Web Forms

Dynamic web forms allow companies to seamlessly transition entry from paper forms to the web. Once a form template has been created for an existing paper form it is automatically available for entry on the web inheriting the same fields, constraints and validations as the paper equivalent.Whether data is collected from document images or web forms, the same publish script is used to process the captured information, allowing companies to maximize on their investment.

Publisher

Unique to the Trinisys Data Entry System is the powerful, built-in, integration engine, or Publisher, which allows companies to create complex integration processes, called Publish Scripts, through a simple point-and-click interface. Publish Scripts are created by mapping captured form field data into one or more publish actions. Some of the actions provided include:

Database Actions	Map form data into existing line-of-business application databases.
File Creation	Generate extract files in a variety of standard formats: xml, csv, etc., as well as custom user defined formats.
Document Generation	Generate form letters, invoices and other documents from captured data.
Email	Send notification emails and generated correspondence.
CMS	Insert documents into content management systems or document repositories.
